In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of SQL language and cloudbased technologies Data warehousing concepts, data modeling, metadata management Data lakes, multidimensional models, data dictionaries Migration to AWS or Azure Snowflake platform Performance tuning and setting up resource monitors Snowflake modeling roles, databases, schemas SQL performance measuring, query tuning, and database tuning ETL tools with clouddriven skills Integration with thirdparty tools Ability to build analytical solutions and models Coding in languages like Python Hadoop, Spark, and other warehousing tools Managing sets of XML, JSON, and CSV from disparate sources Snowflake warehousing, architecture, processing, administration Data ingestion into Snowflake Enterpriselevel technical exposure to Snowflake applications Proven track record of data migration and optimization within Snowflake Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment. Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and thirdparty tools. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to meet datadriven business objectives. Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices. Proficient in SQL and familiar with ETL processes Experience with data modeling and cloud computing environments Handson experience with Snowflake features like Time Travel and ZeroCopy Cloning Understanding of data compliance and security best practices

Experience in performance tuning and cost optimization in a cloud data platform Familiarity with BI tools integration, such as Tableau.
