General Manager Quality

As the General Manager Quality at the garment export unit in Tirupur, your primary role is to ensure that the products not only meet but exceed the expectations of the clients. You will lead a team of quality control professionals and implement strategies to maintain and enhance the quality of the garments throughout the production process. - **Quality Assurance:** Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure consistent product quality. - **Quality Control:** Oversee all aspects of quality control, including inspection of raw materials, in-process inspections, and final product evaluations. - **Supplier Management:** Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards and specifications for raw materials and components. - **Process Improvement:** Continuously evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance product quality and efficiency. - **Team Leadership:** Provide leadership and guidance to the quality control team, including training, coaching, and performance management. - **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product quality and safety. - **Customer Satisfaction:** Work closely with the production and sales teams to address any quality-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction. - **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken. - **Risk Management:** Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the production process to minimize defects and rework. - B.Tech / Diploma in Textiles - 12 to 15 years of experience in quality management within the garment industry, preferably in an export-oriented manufacturing environment. - In-depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrication techniques, and quality control methodologies. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.,
