Functional / Technical Analyst

As supervisor for small requirements/issues and as originator for complex requirements/issues

1. Pre Concept Discussion & process validation.

2. Work with the product, process, policy, profit managers on a variety of operational processes, and support and conduct

3. Business Requirements Documentation / Review BRDs

4. Review requirements from technical aspects

5. Liaise with vendor to neutralize the visible system impacts due to the change

6. Discussions with vendors for UD preparation

7. Discussions with vendors for FSD finalisation

8. FPN Preparation and follow up

9. Compilation of project documentation for SOX compliance

10. Follow up with Vendor for timely release.

13. Error Tracking and Follow up with vendor for timely resolution of the errors.

14. Liaison with DBA/OS support team and other technical team for resolution of errors.

16. Updating PMS / PPM / Project tracker / JIRA to keep all stake holders informed of the project status.

17. Liaise with vendor for movement of the enhancement to production.

18. Co-coordinating with CCB member for CCF Approvals.

19. Preparation of application release process note for clean rollout

20. Postproduction support as per agreed timeline with business / ops.

21. Ensuring backup of the area which is important for project.

22. Follow up with different departments for sign off the project.

24. Document system functionalities to incorporate in the process notes

29. Information Security group discussion and closures of queries raised

a) MCA / MBA / BE / MSc /B Tech or BSc IT / Graduation

b) 3-6 years experience which could be a combination of

a. Technical domain understanding across Banking Applications

b. System functional knowledge, related banking/process knowledge and relate skills viz: Analytical, Documentation, Communication

Strong Exposure to Govt / Institutional Projects covering

Tax collection Integrations with Govt bodies

State / City govt level applications /integrations

Experience on PG, cards, NPCI, NACH

d) Good Exposure to Retail Liabilities side of banking

e) Performance Tests / Benchmarks, Integration with Autosys, TNG, etc. related tasks.

f) Having technical knowledge of Web technology JAVA/J2EE/JSP/SERVLET/XML, WebSphere, UNIX/Linux/AIX, Oracle, IBM MQ, Servers, etc.

g) Technical Issues analysis skill, Identifying resolutions jointly with Application Vendor and/ or Infra Systems Vendors, Server / OS / Storage experts, etc.

h) Constantly identify initiatives to improve process efficiency and TAT’s.

i) Vendor Co-ordination – Interact with Vendor on-site / Off-Site Delivery Teams for getting deliverables as per Project Timelines, tracking slippages, ensuring quality of deliverables and necessary escalations and arrive at remedial measures

j) Good to have if exposed to

a. Automation testing tools (e.g. selenium)

b. STLC & Performance testing concepts

c. Exposure to Automation and Monitoring tools like Autosys and Unicenter

d. Awareness of Project Management methodologies, SDLC (Planning, Feasibility Study, Requirements Analysis, Technical Architecture & Design, Development, Testing – UT / SIT / UAT, Implementation, Support, Documentation), Process & Quality.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This section contains information on working conditions out of the ordinary such as extensive travel, working in shifts, staggered timings, etc.

5 days week. Average working hours 9 hours a day. Late hours and working on holidays/Sundays depending on project plan or stage of the project /system issue.
