We’re seeking someone to join our team as Senior Java Full Stack Developer with good experience on Java/J2EE, Angular/ReactJS, technologies to join a technologically advanced team. You must have expertise in leading design and development of multi-tiered Java EE-style applications. You should be fluent in spring, databases, and database interface layers and associated Java development tools.
WM_Technology
Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.
WM Product Technology
Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities-based loans, and tailored lending. What You’ll Do In The Role
- Analysis, Design, code, and implement highly scalable and reliable web-based applications.
- Coordinate with other teams, business and vendors as necessary.
- Deliver on all phases of development work from initial kick-off, technical setup, application development, and support.
- Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
- Perform ongoing refactoring of code, utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast track concepts, and delivering continuous improvement
- Work with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues
- Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
- Quickly generate and update proof of concepts for testing and team feedback
- Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- At least 2 years of professionalexperience with JAVA with Angular and/or ReactJS
- Expertise in: Java (JDK 1.8+) , Ant/Maven/Gradle, Spring Boot Framework, Service Oriented Architecture, Building RESTful (JSON), Consuming RESTful services, Multi-Threading ,Log4j, Jackson, Database design, SQL, JDBC, transaction handling, jUnit test cases
- Proficiency in Angular and/or ReactJS frameworks, Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Proficiency in basic SQL queries
- Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
- Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
- Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
- Willingness to learn and grow.
Good To HaveSkills
- Experience in Python
- Experience in Shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, HDFS and spark, MQ, Autosys
