About the Role

We're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You'll play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications, from frontend user interfaces to backend services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a startup setting, where you'll have the autonomy to innovate and contribute to the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using Node.js for the backend and React.js for the frontend.
• Write clean, maintainable code in JavaScript, ensuring best practices for performance, security, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including designers, product managers, and other developers) to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for better user experience and system efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, agile sprints, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to improving our tech stack.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional work experience in Node.js, React.js, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with backend development, including server-side logic, databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL), and API design.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating effectively via tools like Slack, Zoom, and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku, or Vercel).
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux) and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Previous startup experience or a passion for entrepreneurial environments.
