Job Description

As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of a robust enterprise-wide architecture strategy that aligns IT with business objectives. Your role will involve ensuring a deep understanding of industry best practices, including TOGAF architectural principles, and proactively ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes. You will oversee the organization's digital transformation journey with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and innovation. Your key responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive Enterprise Architecture Roadmap to support business goals and future scalability, defining and enforcing TOGAF-based architectural principles, identifying and addressing gaps in the current architecture, and aligning solutions with enterprise standards. In addition, you will be required to assess emerging technologies for potential business value and alignment with enterprise needs, develop technology adoption strategies focusing on cloud-native architectures, AI/ML, and data-driven systems, and ensure the adoption of modular, flexible, and scalable platforms to accommodate future growth. Collaborating with teams to design solutions adhering to principles such as business continuity, technology reusability, interoperability, and data privacy & security will also be part of your responsibilities. You will oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards. Furthermore, you will define and enforce enterprise-wide governance frameworks to manage risks, costs, and compliance, establish review boards and architecture review processes to monitor adherence to standards and principles, and regularly update architecture standards to reflect changes in regulations, technologies, and business priorities. Your role will involve partnering with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into actionable technical plans, acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity, and providing guidance to project teams to align them with enterprise goals and best practices. Monitoring the performance of existing architectures, recommending optimizations for improved efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous learning, driving enterprise-wide Agile and DevOps practices, and providing technical mentorship to solution architects and IT teams will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields, along with at least 10 years of experience in IT architecture, including 5 years as an enterprise architect. It is essential to hold certifications such as TOGAF Certified (Foundation & Practitioner) or equivalent, cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect), and ITIL, COBIT, or PMP certifications are considered a plus. Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner EA), in-depth knowledge of cloud computing, microservices, APIs, and containerization, expertise in enterprise tools such as EA repositories, ITSM tools, and DevOps toolchains, as well as strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential skills and expertise required for this role.,
