Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Embedded Hardware Design Engineer (Medical device) with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Karaikudi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded hardware design, testing, and development, along with strong knowledge of programming, hardware architecture, and communication protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test embedded hardware systems to ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware solutions for new and existing products.
• Create detailed hardware design documentation, schematics, and layouts.
• Conduct debugging, validation, and performance optimization of hardware systems.
• Support PCB design, BoM preparation, and variant management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and product requirements.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Knowledge of Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal Hardware Design.
• Familiarity with hardware architectures such as ARM.
• Experience with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, LON, CAN, UART.
• Understanding of Power Supply circuits including DC-DC Converters and Linear Regulators.
• Hands-on experience in PCB Design (Multilayer Technology).
• Proficiency in BoM preparation and variant handling.
• Experience working with Sensor technologies, Medical devices, or Wearable Technologies.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Exposure to Linux, Unix, and RTOS operating systems.
• Experience in Device Driver Development.
