Hardware Design Engineer- New product Development:

Required Qualifications:
- BE/BTech, MTech, Electrical and Electronics engineering.
- 6-10Years of Experience
- Automotive experience
- Self-confident and empowered to deliver daily activity.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently given minimal supervision/direction
- Ability to multi-tasking
- Ability to work in a team environment and be both a team player and task leader
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for Core hardware platform Automotive electronic design.
- Embedded Hardware Product Development and Project Management knowledge.
- Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Touch Sensors
- Mixed signal design, Embedded Hardware Board design, Automotive Electronics
- Signal integrity and Highspeed Circuit design
- ADCs, DACs, RF.
- Communication protocols SPI, I2C, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, USB
- DRBFM and FMEA, ISO26262 safety requirements.
- EMI, EMC and ESD standards for Automotive Applications (AEC Standards)
- Creation of electrical block diagrams, architecture diagrams, schematics, circuit analysis, and design presentations.
- Responsible for Development of New electrical circuit design (schematics).
- Responsible for Generate reliable, cost effective, highly efficient, manufacturable power supply design solutions
that meet or exceed the needs of customer applications.
- Responsible for Development of New electrical circuit design (schematics).
- Responsible for all reviews of PCB component placement and routing guidelines & PCB.
- Responsible for Board bring-up and testing of the product.
- Responsible for Preparing prototypes, testing and verification.
- Responsible for Communicate, Co-ordinate with team and customer
- Responsible for Performing validation and certifications necessary
- EMI/EMC testing experience as per automotive standard is added advantage
- Power Control theory & algorithms. simulation environment like MATLAB.
- Responsible for necessary documentation for customer deliverables.
Job Details:
- Good experience of DC power supplies, transformers & electronic products in automotive applications
- Electrical & electronics components selections such as relays, switches, resistors, varistors, inductors, transformers, capacitors, & semiconductors (MOSFET, BJT, Diodes, LED, Zener, Triac, Diac,SiC, TVS, Micro controllers, etc.).
- Protocols /Interface such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485, MODBUS, LINetc.
- Experience of Products such as PDUs/BDUs and power product design is added advantage
- Must have used microcontrollers/DSCs/DSPs and designed interfaces using them.
- Must have designed systems using analog and digital circuits.
- Experience in PCB layouts, understand and have worked on different PCB compliance requirements
- Prepares of engineering and release related reports for project review
- Utilize engineering disciplines, including Electrical Engineering Process Management, DFSS, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and WCCA to develop robust design solutions.
- Work closely with core hardware design engineers and cross-functional teams to execute and validate complex components.
- Extensive hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, electronic loads, and signal generators.
- Strong teamwork, and excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Familiar with Automotive industry standards for electronics, design factors of safety, and product verification is desired
- Added advantage if knowledge or certified for applicable automotive safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NCAP, and other regulatory standards (UL, CE, ISO, etc), industry benchmarks and customer requirements.
