EDVT Engineer Automation Specialist

You are seeking a skilled EDVT Engineer with strong automation experience to join the team. As an EDVT Engineer Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and validating automation solutions to streamline network operations. Your role will involve managing the data obtained from test results to improve efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for network testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements, and implementing test cases for automation workflows. You will support lab setup and configuration for automation testing environments, validate network device configurations, and document automation processes and results. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation workflows and network configurations, contributing to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and tools. To be successful in this role, you should have 2 to 3 years of experience in Agile software development and network automation. Hands-on experience with network automation platforms like Cisco NSO or similar is required, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, XML templates, and TCL. Knowledge of network protocols, device configurations, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary, and you should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred qualifications for this position include a BE in Electronics or Computer Science with experience in network test automation and validation tools. Familiarity with Cisco automation services and solutions, as well as an understanding of network and data science infrastructure concepts, would be beneficial.
