Director - Digital

As the Director of Digital Media Planning at EssenceMediacom in Gurgaon, you will be responsible for planning digital media strategies for market-leading brands with a cult-like following. Your role will involve a deep understanding of digital media, including performance media such as search, social, and affiliates. Reporting to the Sr. Director - Digital, you will have the opportunity to work on a global scale with cult brands, where digital plays a core role in the business without being limited to e-commerce. You will also be at the forefront of tech innovation to drive efficiencies and enhance digital marketing solutions. In your first three months, you will collaborate with various digital ecosystem stakeholders and introduce digital channels to optimize performance media mix for existing clients. By the sixth month, you will have mastered pitching digital products to clients and worked closely with a diverse team of media buyers and planners. Within a year, you will emerge as a go-to person for digital marketing solutions and excel in managing partnerships with publishers and channel partners. Your responsibilities will include understanding client objectives, managing large teams on performance media, developing partnerships with key publishers and affiliates, and leading client review meetings. Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and people management skills are essential for this role. To thrive in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, a good understanding of the programmatic landscape, knowledge of digital advertising technologies, analytical skills, and the ability to stay updated with the latest digital advertising trends. Experience in working with affiliate and programmatic technologies, as well as managing people, is crucial. A minimum of 9-10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
