Devops Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team and drive new initiatives. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for reliability of existing Production and non-production workloads running on AWS Cloud, designing scalable infrastructure, and keeping up-to-date with latest DevOps technologies and best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with industry standards while adhering to security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the point of contact for SRE responsibilities across all production and non-production environments, promptly addressing DevOps-related tickets and incidents.

• Run, improve and maintain the current CI/CD pipelines across Jenkins , Code Build, Code Deploy and Code Pipeline.

• Take actions on alerts and notifications related to incidents or issues with any environments.

• Improve monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure high product reliability at scale

• Standardize setup/deployments of Edge services of KloudGin on AWS

• Creation of new servers / service setup and maintenance of new / existing environments.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, reduce deployment times, and improve the reliability and scalability of the systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives across the Product Lifecycle

• Keep up-to-date with latest DevOps technologies, tools, and best practices

• Must be able to work on rotating shifts (including evenings/weekends) to ensure 24/7 coverage and address production incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong experience with Amazon Web Services, such as EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling Groups, CloudWatch, Code Build, Code Deploy, Code Pipeline, Route 53, API Gateway, and CloudFormation/Terraform.

• Strong experience in designing and implementing modernization strategies for Java-based products to a serverless architecture on AWS and/or Kubernetes

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab to design, build, and maintain automated Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Experience with Ansible playbooks for configuration management, deployment, and repetitive tasks automation.

• Experience in designing and implementing monitoring and logging strategies using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK

• Experience in infrastructure as code (IaaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

• Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies

• Hands on experience with AWS serverless components like lambda to build serverless apps

• Strong experience in one of the scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with Git and Bitbucket

• Understanding of NoSQL databases like Mongo would be nice to have

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• AWS Certified Solution Architect- Associate certification is a must. Professional/DevOps specialty is desired
