Role Overview:

Desktop Support Engineer (L2)

Experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure & troubleshoot Windows 10/11, MS Office, Outlook.
  • Handle desktop & server hardware (RAM, HDD/SSD, RAID, PSU, etc.).
  • Support rack, tower & blade servers.
  • Perform backup, restore & patch management.
  • Manage service requests via ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Remedy, etc.).
  • Active Directory tasks user accounts, password resets, permissions.
  • Maintain IT documentation & inventory.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop & server hardware support.
  • Knowledge of backup, patching & restore processes.
  • Experience with ticketing tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting & customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server concepts.
