AMS (Analog Mixed Signal) Verification Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

  Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) models

  using

  Real Number Modeling (RNM)

  and

  Verilog-AMS

  .
• Perform

  verification of analog and mixed-signal blocks

  such as

  ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and other mixed-signal IPs

  .
• Set up and run

  mixed-signal verification environments

  using Cadence tools including

  Virtuoso, ADE Assembler, and Xcelium

  .
• Conduct

  mixed-signal waveform analysis

  , debug simulation failures, and perform

  coverage analysis

  to ensure verification completeness.
• Collaborate closely with design, modeling, and digital verification teams to ensure comprehensive AMS verification.
• Document verification plans, methodologies, and results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in

  Electronics / Electrical / VLSI Design / Microelectronics

  .

• 2+ years

  of experience in AMS Verification, or

  M.Tech with 1+ year

  of relevant experience in analog/mixed-signal domain.
• Strong understanding of

  analog building blocks

  (e.g., amplifiers, comparators, voltage/current references).
• Proficiency in

  Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, and Real Number Modeling (wreal)

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Cadence Mixed-Signal Design Environment tools

  (Virtuoso, ADE Assembler, Xcelium).
• Solid knowledge of

  mixed-signal verification methodologies

  , including waveform analysis, debugging, and coverage metrics.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing

  testbenches and behavioral models

  for AMS IPs.
• Familiarity with

  UVM-MS

  (Universal Verification Methodology for Mixed Signal).
• Exposure to

  digital verification flows

  is an added advantage.
