Description
As a Database Technical Lead at Twinline Business Solutions Pvt Ltd. in Gurgaon, Haryana, you will have a very strong background in developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages. Your responsibilities will include creating new PL/SQL packages, reviewing existing ones, and ensuring they support the development efforts effectively. You will be in charge of the design, development, testing, release, maintenance, and technical support of the database development. It will be your duty to review PL/SQL packages for changes, performance enhancements, and tuning improvements. Your in-depth knowledge of Oracle Database (RDBMS) will be crucial in this role. You must possess coding skills to write complex SQL queries, Views, MVs, as well as PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers. Hands-on experience with SQL Tuning is necessary to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions. Analyzing query execution plans to optimize queries for speed and efficient resource utilization will be part of your routine tasks. Collaborating closely with developers, system administrators, and data analysts is essential to address database-related needs efficiently. You will be expected to develop scripts and tools for database monitoring, management, and automation. Identifying and resolving database issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact is a key responsibility. Additionally, you will serve as the escalation point for complex database-related problems. Your ability to excel in an Agile development environment, such as Scrum, XP, TDD, will be advantageous. You should be a high-energy, results-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to interact effectively. Being a hands-on problem solver with a creative mindset and the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment is essential. Staying updated with current and emerging technologies and being self-directed and responsive to customer expectations are qualities that will contribute to your success in this role. As a team leader in the Development Team, you will be responsible for implementing new business features, fixing bugs, refactoring code, executing development tests, and creating unit tests. Working with a solution-oriented mindset, you will collaborate with colleagues within the development team and across the entire company. Leading a team of database developers effectively and demonstrating team leader qualities will be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you must possess strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills, be open to learning new technologies and functional domains, and be willing to be available outside of normal office hours. Prioritizing tasks while considering various perspectives and having excellent managerial skills are crucial requirements. A minimum of 6-10 years of experience, with a background in handling teams, is essential. Knowledge of product-based software is preferred. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Tech/B.E degree (mandatory) and a Master's degree (preferred). The expected start date is immediate, within 15-30 days, or based on notice period.
