Job Description

As a Database Administrator at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and performance of critical data assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust backup and recovery strategies. Your role will involve working closely with Change Control, Release Management, Asset and Configuration Management, and Capacity and Availability Management to meet user needs and ensure database security. - Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of database management systems - Collaborate with software developers/architects to optimize database-related applications - Design backup and disaster recovery strategies - Monitor database performance and provide technical support to end-users - Participate in database software upgrades, data validation activities, and support database-related initiatives To excel in this role, you should have: - Seasoned proficiency in database administration tasks - Strong understanding of SQL, database security principles, and backup strategies - Effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail - Academic qualifications in computer science or related fields - Relevant certifications like MCSE DBA or Oracle Certified Professional are preferred NTT DATA is a global innovator of business and technology services, dedicated to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
