Job Description

PostgreSQL DBA with focusing on our cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Manage, configure, and fine-tune our PostgreSQL databases in the cloud to make sure they're always up, super reliable, and fast.
Set up and maintain our backup, restore, disaster recovery, and replication plans (think streaming replication, PITR, etc.) for our most critical stuff.
Keep a close eye on database health and performance using cloud and APM tools.
You'll be the one troubleshooting slow queries, dealing with locking issues, optimizing indexes, and fixing any storage slowdowns.
Handle security and accessmanaging roles, encryption, auditing, and integrating with our cloud IAM tools to keep everything locked down and compliant.
Team up with our application and DevOps folks to design schemas, optimize their queries, plan capacity for growth, and support deployments, especially in modern setups like Kubernetes, Aurora PostgreSQL, or Cloud SQL.
Be a great communicator and team player—we need strong verbal and written collaboration skills!
