Job Description

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. Additionally, a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator is required. Proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development is essential. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for this role. The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are important in this position. Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written at the C1 Advanced level, are crucial. Experience with Power BI is preferred. Responsibilities include database development, deployment, and code review. The candidate will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of MySQL, MSSQL, and various other databases. Troubleshooting and performance monitoring of internal databases will be part of the daily tasks. Performing database migrations and upgrades as needed, as well as implementing and managing security measures to protect sensitive data, are key responsibilities. Collaboration with other areas of IT to design and implement efficient database schemas and troubleshoot performance issues of existing code is required. Participation in on-call support for database-related incidents and providing technical support and troubleshooting for any database-related issues are essential duties. Ensuring database security by applying best practices is also a critical aspect of the role.,
