Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Tata Insights and Quants, you will play a crucial role in the Predictive Analytics, Digital Analytics, Data Sciences, Advanced Visualization, Insights & Experimentation team. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying Data Mining/ Data Analysis methods using various data tools, creating and implementing models with algorithms, and conducting simulations to drive optimization and improvement across business functions - Assessing the accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques - Performing Exploratory Data Analysis and detailed analysis of business problems to design solutions - Applying a variety of algorithms including Supervised, Unsupervised, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, Regression, Simulation, Scenario Analysis, Time Series Modelling, Classification, Clustering, Ensemble Models, and Neural Networks - Leading and managing Proof of Concepts and documenting use cases, solutions, and recommendations - Working in a fast-paced agile development environment and coordinating with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes - Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging organization data and applying Predictive Modelling techniques across various business functions Your experience and skills should include: - 2-7 years of professional working experience in Analytics - Experience in Retail, Financial Services, and Manufacturing - Proficiency in statistical packages like R, Python, and Spark ML, as well as distributed data/computing tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, and SQL - Experience in visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders using tools like matplot, ggplot, Excel, Tableau - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination across teams Qualifications: - Bachelors/ Masters in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Science),
