Customer Service Support Manager

As a Mechanical Technician at our company, your role will involve a combination of customer interaction, product evaluation, repair and refurbishment, testing and validation, continuous improvement, and maintaining stock of finished products. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Customer Interaction and Support: - Maintain regular communication with customers to identify and address their problems. - Coordinate with the customer support team in Bangalore for timely resolution of product-related issues. - Product Evaluation and Analysis: - Conduct troubleshooting to diagnose the root cause of failures. - Repair and Refurbishment: - Follow written instructions and procedures to repair mechanical components. - Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures. - Keep the work area clean and safe. - Ensure the calibration and serviceability of measuring instruments and gauges. - Testing and Validation: - Conduct system-level testing of mechanical components. - Document test results accurately. - Continuous Improvement: - Provide feedback to the Bangalore team regarding suggested changes based on customer feedback. - Stock Management: - Maintain stock of finished products, spares, and assembly/testing tools to fulfill customer requirements. - Field Support: - Be flexible to handle service calls and visit customer locations for on-site support. Qualifications: - B.E / Diploma / ITI in Mechanical / Mechatronics. - 2-3 years of experience in assembling/manufacturing electro-mechanical systems. - Proficiency in quality control for mechanical and electronic components and processes. - Working knowledge of testing PCBs / electrical systems is preferred. - Experience in IQC of mechanical parts, PCBs, cables, and electronic accessories with inspection report generation. Skills required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Basic computer navigation skills with proficiency in MS Word, email, and PowerPoint.
