Construction Planning & Control

Position Overview:

The Construction Planner will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules (L2, L3, L4), preparing comprehensive project plans using MS Project/Primavera, and supporting project digitization and IPMS implementation. The role demands strong technical skills in planning tools and construction management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules (L2, L3, L4).
• Prepare Master Programme using MS Project/Primavera.
• Support project digitization and IPMS platform implementation.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Create catch-up and look-ahead plans; monitor critical paths.
• Develop WBS and allocate resources for scheduling and planning.
• Conduct delay analysis and recommend preventive actions.
• Develop MIS for DPR, WPR, and MPR for management review.
• Prepare and submit Extension of Time (EoT) claims.
• Collect and analyze engineering, procurement, and construction data.
• Prepare periodic project progress reports.
• Formulate recovery plans to mitigate delays.
• Create S Curves, Bar Charts, and Histograms for baseline monitoring.
• Update schedules based on actual progress and highlight critical activities.
• Organize and document project review meetings.
• Prepare presentations for client and management reviews.
• Facilitate timely project completion through micro-planning.
• Predict delays and alert management proactively.
• Monitor daily progress and address deviations from the plan.

Education Qualification:

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years

  of relevant experience in construction planning and control.

Technical Competencies/Skills:

• Proficiency in

  MS Project/Primavera

• Strong knowledge of

  MS Excel

  and

  PowerPoint

• Exposure to

  construction management tools
