Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation:

Set up and operate VTL, CNC, VMC, and HMC machines according to job specifications and engineering drawings.
Load/unload parts and materials into machines safely and accurately.
Adjust tool offsets, speeds, feeds, and parameters as needed.

Programming & Editing:

Read and interpret G-code and M-code.
Edit existing CNC programs on the machine or offline (if required).
Collaborate with programmers or engineers for optimizing machining processes.

Quality Control:

Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.).
Ensure machined parts meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Report malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments (QA, engineering).
