We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Azure Cloud Administrator to take full ownership of our Azure environment. This is an on-premise role focused on managing and optimizing daily Azure operations, reviewing and improving existing architecture, ensuring security and compliance, and driving cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and capable of working independently while collaborating with our CSPM partner and internal teams.Key Responsibilities:Azure Operations & Administration• Lead and manage day-to-day Azure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.• Monitor and maintain Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, and identity services.• Implement and manage automation for routine tasks and operational efficiency.Architecture Review & Optimization• Evaluate existing Azure architecture and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and costeffectiveness.• Identify and implement corrective actions to address architectural gaps or inefficiencies.• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud architecture with business goals.Cost Management & Optimization• Analyse Azure usage and billing data to identify cost-saving opportunities.• Implement cost control measures and optimize resource utilization.• Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spend and budget adherence.Security, Access Control & Compliance• Manage Azure RBAC, policies, and identity governance to ensure secure access control.• Work closely with the CSPM partner to maintain compliance with security standards and best practices.• Conduct regular audits and implement security hardening measures.Backup & Disaster Recovery• Design, implement, and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical workloads.• Ensure regular testing and validation of DR plans.PaaS & Advanced Services• Manage and support Azure PaaS offerings including:• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)• Azure SQL/Database Services• API Management / API Gateways• Landing Zones and Governance Frameworks• Ensure best practices are followed in deployment, scaling, and monitoring of PaaS services.Collaboration & Leadership• Act as the primary point of contact for all Azure-related operations.• Collaborate with internal teams, CSPM partners, and vendors to ensure seamless cloud operations.• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.Required Skills & Qualifications:• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud administration at L2/L3 level.• Strong expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS services
