Job Description

  • Candidate from Civil Engineering Industry will be highly preferred

New Business Development

Locating potential business deals for the company by contacting potential clients (contractors, developers, architects etc) by discovering and exploring opportunities.

Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials

Propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.

Call on clients, make presentations on services (online or in person) that meet clients requirements.

Set up meetings between client decision makers and companys practice leaders/Principals.

Participate in pricing the solution/service.

Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new clients to ensure the sustainable & profitable business growth for the system

Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

Regularly engage with clients to assess satisfaction and address any concerns.

Identify, build and maintain formal and informal networks and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Business Development Planning

Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth.Create development plans and forecast sales targets and growth projections.

Attend association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new trends in providing services.

Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research

Submit weekly progress reports.

Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the companys CRM.

Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.

Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
