About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a minimum of 5 years of proven expertise in driving sales growth, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term client relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and organizational goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver business presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align business development strategies.
  • Negotiate business deals, pricing, and contractual agreements to ensure profitability.
  • Track, analyze, and report business development performance against KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure consistent business growth.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, lead generation, and closing strategies.
  • Experience in handling B2B / B2C sales, corporate tie-ups, or international client management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and business development platforms (LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in IT, SaaS, Consulting, or Service-based industries (as per your company’s domain).
  • Exposure to international business development and global markets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
