Role & responsibilities

Incident :Ensure the support, treatment and management of incidents at the Level 1, 2 & 3. In case of backup failure, it will be necessary to provide an analysis of this failure and to correct the problem Monitoring: Guarantee that the backup infrastructure is permanently functional Reporting Capacity planning Backup requests : consideration, validation, implementation and information to requesters Documentation: existing documentation up to date and new documentations done when needed Management : Ensure the management of L1 teams in the datacenters for local acts (add or extract tapes, manage tape stock...) Restore requests : consideration, validation, implementation and information to requesters CMDB :Keep CMDB up to date regarding backup informations Software upgrades : Realize software version upgrades by applying editors recommendations Obsolescence : Anticipate platform obsolescence Testing : A restoration test of all applications will be carried out at least once a year

Preferred candidate profile

Develop a good knowledge about Safran businesses Good overview of services provided by DSIC to anticipate service disruptions Minimum 5 years of backup experience. VERITAS NetBackup Certification or training Must know and have already worked on the administration of the Netbackup software Knowledge of Veritas FLEX & Access appliance administration would be an advantage Exposure to Ticketing Tool like Service Now is an added advantage. Knowledge of data deduplication and storage solution like Dell DataDomain Must know and have already worked with backup robotics (Quantum...)
