About the Role

Azure Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect

  end-to-end Azure cloud solutions

  that meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and integration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
  
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into

  architectural blueprints

  .
• Define and enforce

  cloud governance, security, and compliance best practices

  .
• Provide hands-on guidance in

  Azure services

  such as Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory, Synapse, and Storage Accounts.
• Design and implement

  network architecture

  , including VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and load balancing.
• Establish

  DevOps pipelines

  (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Optimize

  cloud cost management

  , performance, and scalability.
• Mentor teams and conduct design reviews to ensure technical excellence.
  
• Stay up to date with

  Azure releases, emerging cloud trends, and best practices

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  
• 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years focused on

  Azure architecture and cloud design

  .
• Strong hands-on expertise in

  Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components

  .
• Deep knowledge of

  Azure networking, security, and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud)

  .
• Experience with

  Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  .
• Proficiency in

  scripting languages

  (PowerShell, Python, YAML).
• Experience in designing

  disaster recovery and high availability

  solutions.
• Azure certifications such as

  Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

  or

  Azure Administrator (AZ-104)

  preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  hybrid cloud

  or

  multi-cloud

  architectures.
• Exposure to

  containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)

  and

  microservices design

  .
• Knowledge of

  Azure Data Services
