Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and customize functionalities within the Avaloq Banking System using Avaloq Scripting and other relevant technologies.
• Participate in technical design, implementation, and maintenance of Avaloq modules, including core banking, payments, securities, and CRM.
• Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure all code and configuration changes adhere to best practices and internal standards.
• Debug and resolve system issues and provide 3rd-level support for Avaloq-related incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Avaloq Core Team, Operations, and other stakeholders in Agile/DevOps environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong hands-on experience with Avaloq Core Platform and Avaloq Script.
• Good understanding of banking/financial services domain—especially in areas like payments, securities, or client data.
• Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle DB, and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Exposure to Avaloq ACP/AFP certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with change management, release processes, and configuration management in Avaloq.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) is a strong plus.
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of Avaloq Object Modeling and Parameterization.
• Exposure to tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
