Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 4+ years of expertise in Web (Selenium) and Mobile (Appium) automation using Java to enhance our testing framework and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, executing end-to-end testing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve test efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of test automation tools and large-scale system testing. A keen analytical mindset, experience with Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role. Job Description: The Automation Engineer should have expertise in Web (Selenium) and Mobile (Appium) automation testing with Java. They should possess a strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Page Object Model and experience in writing and executing automated test cases for web and mobile applications. Strong hands-on experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing test scripts is essential. The candidate should have knowledge of cross-browser testing and debugging web applications across different environments. Proficiency in handling mobile gestures, UI interactions, and native/hybrid app testing is required. Additionally, the ability to set up and maintain large-scale test environments for automated execution is crucial. Understanding of Agile methodologies, working with Jira or similar tools, and excellent communication skills are also important for this role. Job Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. - Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to define and implement automation strategies. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with Customer/developers to resolve issues. - Improve test efficiency by implementing best practices in automation and test execution. - Provide detailed test reports and document testing processes for better traceability. - Research and implement new automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing capabilities. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for automated testing.
