We Are Hiring For 2 Positions

Position 1: Automated Quality Engineer - API Testing (Python/FastAPI)

OR

Position 2: Automation Quality Engineer - Web Applications (NextJS/React)

Position 1: API Testing Specialist (Python/FastAPI)

Role Overview

Design, develop, and execute test automation strategies for FastAPI/Python-based APIs and their integrations with 3rd-party insurance and claims systems. You will be a key contributor to the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring APIs meet the highest standards of reliability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks for REST APIs in Python (FastAPI)
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers, API Integration Engineers, and business analysts to define test strategies
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Perform API security and performance testing, including vulnerability and load testing on APIs and gateways (APIM, KONG)
• Validate data integrity and accuracy in integrations, with proper handling of PII
• Contribute to TDD practices and provide guidance on QA best practices

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years in automated QA/Quality Engineering with strong focus on API testing
• 2+ years hands-on experience testing Python APIs (FastAPI framework)
• Proven experience with test automation tools (Postman, Jest, Vitest, or similar)
• Strong understanding of REST API principles, API security, and performance testing methodologies
• Experience testing enterprise system integrations
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3)
• Solid understanding of insurance workflows and business processes
• Excellent communication skills and Agile SDLC experience

Good to Have

• Experience with Fineos, SAP, CPAY, FileNet, or CoFax integrations
• Exposure to AI technologies (GitHub Copilot) for test automation
• ISTQB or relevant certifications

• Location:

  Kolkata, India (Onsite)

• Shift:

  Evening shift (6:30 PM IST 9:00 PM IST)

Position 2: Web Application Testing Specialist (NextJS/React)

Role Overview

Build robust testing frameworks for modern NextJS/React web applications with comprehensive API integrations. Drive quality assurance processes and ensure excellence throughout the software development lifecycle on cutting-edge web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test automation frameworks using Playwright & Selenium
• Automate testing of NextJS/React applications with focus on API testing and integrations
• Create and manage robust test data sets for various testing scenarios
• Drive quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform manual, automated, API integration, and cross-functional application testing
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (ADO, GitHub Actions)
• Test cross-functional applications (CRMs, finance systems)

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Quality Engineering experience with NextJS and Playwright/Cypress/Jest, and Selenium
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in agile development environments
• API testing and integration expertise
• Cross-functional application testing experience (CRMs, finance systems)
• Strong understanding of modern web frameworks and testing methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset

Good to Have

• Performance, accessibility, and security testing experience
• CI/CD pipeline integration knowledge (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• ISTQB or relevant industry certifications
• Enterprise SDLC understanding

Location & Timings

• Location:

  Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata (Onsite)

• Schedule:

  4 days office-based, regular business hours
