Job Description

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out routine audits of finance, accounting, payroll, and inventory records as per the audit timetable, and ensure follow-up with the concerned teams for timely corrective action.
Share audit results, exceptions, and deviations with the appropriate stakeholders for further action.
Review existing internal controls, detect gaps or inefficiencies, and suggest practical improvements.
Interact and coordinate with external auditors and professional advisors whenever required.
Check statutory compliance status, compare statutory filings with the accounting ledgers, identify mismatches, and report them to the relevant stakeholders.
Validate all reconciliation statements, pinpoint discrepancies, and communicate the findings to the respective teams.
Perform regular stock audits, examine issues highlighted in stock audit reports, and drive corrective measures.
Inspect the monthly trial balance and provide recommendations to address errors and maintain accuracy.
