Audit Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits independently.
  
• Plan audit engagements, allocate work, and ensure timely completion.
  
• Review working papers, financial statements, and audit documentation.
  
• Manage client communication, resolve audit issues, and provide value-added insights.
  
• Guide and mentor audit team members and ensure adherence to standards.
  
• Coordinate with tax and advisory teams for cross-functional matters.
  
• Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Standards on Auditing, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 410 years of post-qualification experience.
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory audit requirements, and Companies Act compliance.
  
• Experience in managing audit teams and handling multiple assignments.
  
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
  
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage diverse engagements.
