Assistant Manager- Reliability and Testing

The role involves handling Part Level Reliability Testing for Electrical/Electronic Parts and Products. You will collaborate with Project Leaders and Logic teams to comprehend system and market requirements and translate them into test cases to ensure design reliability. Interaction with the Electronic Hardware team will be necessary to understand controller hardware and create corresponding test cases. Assembling, soldering, and testing electronic circuits and prototypes, including surface-mount and through-hole components, will be part of your responsibilities. It is imperative to ensure that testing complies with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, MIL-STD, IPC. You will be tasked with analyzing and troubleshooting faults, as well as maintaining laboratory instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and surge generators. Upholding lab safety protocols, documenting test samples properly, and providing support during audits and certification processes are essential duties. Additionally, you will record experimental data, prepare technical reports, and uphold accurate lab records for compliance and future reference. Your responsibilities will also extend to Product Level Reliability Testing, involving prototyping new technologies in the HVAC industry and conducting Electrical/Electronic Reliability Testing of Products according to IEC and IS standards. Root cause analysis of failures, collaboration with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to address reliability issues, and documentation of corrective actions or design improvements will be vital aspects of this role. Furthermore, the position entails providing Technical Support by engaging with the Manufacturing team, Vendor development team, and Field team to gather feedback and align testing/simulations in the lab. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting Electrical reliability testing of parts and products with hands-on experience. - Ability to interpret circuit diagrams and datasheets proficiently. - Utilizing various software tools to analyze test results effectively. - Operating oscilloscopes, surge generators, EFT test instruments, and other lab instruments skillfully. - Possessing knowledge about various electronic components and understanding SMPS power supply operation and testing skills. - Familiarity with various IEC and IS standards is necessary for this role.,
