Job Description

Role Overview: As the Assistant Manager Audit at the company, you will be responsible for leading and managing Audit & Assurance operations. This includes overseeing internal and external audits, GST reconciliation, financial and costing analysis, as well as MIS reporting. Your role will involve planning and executing audits, mentoring the audit team, reviewing documentation for accuracy, and implementing audit methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute statutory and internal audits in compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements. - Lead, supervise, and mentor the audit team to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. - Review audit work papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance. - Develop and implement audit methodologies, tools, and standard operating procedures. Qualification Required: - Mandatory qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA). - Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification audit experience, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment. Additional Company Details: The company values individuals with exposure to industry-specific audits (e.g., manufacturing, retail, e-commerce) or experience with advanced MIS tools or ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.). If you possess these additional qualifications, it would be considered a plus. Technical Skills Required: - In-depth understanding of audit methodologies, accounting standards (Ind AS, GAAP), and regulatory frameworks. - Expertise in GST compliance, especially GSTR-9C preparation and reconciliation. - Advanced analytical skills in financial and costing ratio analysis, and variance reporting. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with audit software and ERP systems preferred. Soft Skills Required: - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proven client handling and stakeholder engagement experience. - High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to continuous learning.
