About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with strong expertise in building and optimizing large-scale Ratings Data Ingestion pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies, big data frameworks, and performance tuningespecially around Java garbage collection. You will work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop

  Ratings Data Ingestion pipelines

  using AWS and big data technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance data processing solutions.
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure high-quality engineering across components.
  
• Work extensively with large datasets and computationally intensive systems.
  
• Optimize and tune Java garbage collection and overall application performance.
  
• Implement best practices across SDLC including Agile, CI/CD, unit testing, and code reviews.
  
• Mentor team members, drive innovation, and effectively communicate ideas to stakeholders.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  5+ years

  of hands-on application development experience.
• Strong expertise with AWS technologies:

  S3, Hive, Databricks, Spark, Scala, Python

  .
• Proven experience in designing & implementing large-scale

  data ingestion pipelines

  .
• Strong exposure to

  system architecture

  , OOP concepts, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in

  SDLC

  , especially Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience working with

  high-volume data

  and distributed systems.
• Mandatory experience in

  Java performance tuning

  , especially garbage collection.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD tools, IDEs, and defect tracking systems.
  
• Domain knowledge in

  Financial Services / Capital Markets

  is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with strong verbal and written abilities.
  
• Ability to mentor, innovate, and present ideas confidently to business teams.
