Workshop Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating repair and maintenance work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and allocate workload to ensure timely completion of jobs.

Monitor and improve workshop productivity and efficiency.

Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Manage inventory, tools, and equipment used in the workshop.

Maintain accurate records of jobs, repairs, and maintenance.

Coordinate with clients/customers regarding job status and delivery.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Train and develop team members to maintain high service standards.

Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or in a similar role.

Strong technical knowledge of automotive industry.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office and workshop management software.

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
