Key Responsibilities

• Integration Development & Design:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy complex inbound and outbound integrations using

  Workday Studio

  ,

  Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

  ,

  Core Connectors

  , and

  Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)

  .
• Serve as the technical lead for integrations involving

  Workday Fixed Assets

  and external asset management, general ledger (GL), procurement, and treasury systems.
• Utilize advanced Workday features like

  Calculated Fields

  ,

  Custom Reports for Integration (RaaS)

  , and

  XSLT

  for data transformation and mapping.

• Asset Management Specialization:

• Deeply understand the data model and business processes within Workday Financials related to

  Fixed Assets, Capital Projects, Depreciation, and Asset Disposal

  .
• Ensure seamless, accurate, and secure data flow for asset transactions (e.g., asset creation, additions, disposals, transfers) between Workday and integrated applications.
• Partner with Functional teams and Business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for asset lifecycle integration touchpoints.

• Maintenance & Optimization:

• Provide expert-level Tier 3 support for all existing Workday integrations, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions for complex data or process issues.
• Lead the impact analysis, testing, and deployment of integrations during

  Workday's semi-annual feature releases

• Monitor and optimize integration performance, ensuring high data integrity, system stability, and compliance with data governance policies.

• Documentation & Collaboration:

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including integration specifications, test plans, flowcharts, and security protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, IT security, and vendor technical teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years

  of hands-on experience as a Workday Integration Developer or similar role.
• Demonstrable experience integrating Workday Financials, with specific, strong experience in the

  Fixed Assets/Asset Management

  modules.
• Prior experience in the financial services, investment management, or a highly regulated, asset-intensive industry is highly desirable.

• Technical Skills:

• Expert proficiency with Workday integration tools:

  Workday Studio, EIB (Inbound/Outbound), Core Connectors, PECI, and Document Transformation

  .
• Expertise in web service technologies including

  SOAP, REST, WSDL

  , and data formats like

  XML, XSLT, JSON, and XPATH

  .
• Strong working knowledge of Workday security models, business processes, and data sources relevant to Financial Management.

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Soft Skills:

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Integration Certification

  (Workday Studio, Workday Integration).
• Experience with

  Workday Extend

  and/or middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, GL reconciliation, and audit requirements related to Fixed Assets.
• Experience with other Workday modules such as Procurement, Banking, or Prism Analytics.
