Your responsibilities will also include maintaining, updating, and optimizing existing WordPress websites, managing the website back-end, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring that websites are secure, high-performing, and SEO-friendly. Collaboration with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time will be a key aspect of your role, along with writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code. To excel in this position, you should have 13 years of professional experience in WordPress development and be proficient in PHP, MySQL, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery. A strong understanding of WordPress core, hooks, actions, and filters is essential, along with hands-on experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg. Familiarity with WooCommerce, REST API, AJAX, and version control systems like Git will be beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members are also essential for success in this role. Additionally, having experience in custom plugin development, working knowledge of Docker, familiarity with hosting environments, DNS, cPanel, or server management, English communication skills, and proficiency in Git workflow with CI/CD are considered nice-to-have skills for this position.
