We are also developing a mobile catalogue platform where we will list all the smartphones and other gadgets along with their specs, prices, and news in one place. This will help our audience stay informed and make better decisions when buying phones.

About the Role:

We are looking for a WordPress developer for two reasons:

1. Smartphone Catalogue Platform

We are constantly building and updating a smartphone discovery platform where users can find everything they need to know about a phone. This includes product catalogue, deals, benchmarks, news, and guides. This will help them compare phones based on different metrics and make informed decisions.

2. Tech, Gaming, and Entertainment Blog

We cover all three verticals, bringing the latest news, reviews, guides, and explainers on anime, entertainment, tech, and gaming sectors.

We need a WordPress developer who will understand our needs, goals, and objectives. And then update the design, add new features, and optimize the websites for speed and performance. We need someone who can plan and execute development strategies that will result in better readability, UI, and UX experience, and search engine rankings and visibility.

Requirements for the Role

• 3+ years of WordPress development experience where you have worked with eCommerce websites, blogs, and product catalogue sites.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript languages along with REST API/GraphQL.
• Proficient in managing databases, AJAX, Bootstrap framework, and other web services.
• You know how to use and develop in WP-CLI.
• You know how you use WordPress CMS through and through.
• You can work with third-party API keys.
• You can reduce code clutter, write clean code, and improve page load times.
• You can develop custom Gutenberg blocks.

Responsibilities for the Role

• You will create concepts for various website designs and features and execute them, resulting in the final product.
• You will be maintaining the website’s performance, security, and overall UI/UX.
• You will develop innovative features, solve problems, and, if needed, develop custom plugins without requiring 3rd-party plugins.
• You can communicate well with other team members, understand needs, and develop solutions.
• Find and fix all bugs and security issues in a timely fashion.
• All code will be as per the latest industry standards, clean, and written with performance in mind.
