WordPress Backend Developer

Role Overview: As a skilled WordPress Backend Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and core functionalities. You will work closely with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to create scalable and secure WordPress solutions. Additionally, you will optimize website performance, ensure security best practices are followed, and stay updated with the latest WordPress updates and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and core functionalities. - Implement and manage REST APIs and third-party integrations. - Optimize website performance including database queries, caching, and server-side configurations. - Ensure security best practices are followed in backend development. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing WordPress sites. - Collaborate with the design and front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences. - Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, trends, and backend technologies. Qualification Required: - 2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Backend Developer. - Proven experience with WordPress core, custom theme development, and plugin development. - Expertise in WordPress customization (themes, hooks, filters, shortcodes, custom post types, ACF, WooCommerce). - Strong back-end development and object-oriented programming (OOP) skills. - Familiarity with Shopify app development, Liquid templating, and admin customization. - Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and REST/GraphQL APIs. - Good understanding of security best practices, caching, and performance optimization for WordPress sites.,
