Role & responsibilities SAP WM Configuration & Customization Configure and customize SAP Warehouse Management (WM) modules to meet business requirements. Set up storage types, bins, transfer orders, and putaway/picking strategies. 3PL Integration & Coordination Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure seamless integration with SAP. Handle EDI/IDoc configurations and troubleshoot data exchange issues between SAP and 3PL systems. Process Design & Optimization Analyze current warehouse processes and design optimized workflows using SAP WM functionalities. Implement best practices for inbound, outbound, and inventory management processes. Testing & Documentation Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and conduct unit/integration testing. Document configurations, process flows, and user manuals for training and support. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support Work closely with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Provide post-implementation support and resolve system issues related to warehouse operations. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM). At least 4 years of hands-on experience in advanced 3PL integration and SAP WM. Must have worked on at least one end-to-end SAP WM implementation project involving 3PL processes. Strong knowledge of SAP WM configuration , including IDocs, EDI, and integration with external logistics systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
