WLAN Automation QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using
Python
and frameworks such as
Pytest, PyATS, or Robot Framework
.
Design and implement
API automation tests
using Python and
Flask
applications.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and design test scenarios for WLAN and wireless networking protocols.
Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing for WLAN solutions at
L2/L3 networking layers
.
Work with version control systems like
Git
for source code management and test automation pipelines.
Identify, log, and track defects, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation frameworks, and tools.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:
2.5+ years in Python development and test automation.
Programming & Frameworks:
Proficient in
Python
, with hands-on experience in
Flask
,
Pytest
,
PyATS
, or
Robot Framework
.
Networking Knowledge:
Strong understanding of
L2/L3 networking concepts
and
wireless protocols
.
API Automation:
Experience in testing and automating
RESTful APIs
.
Version Control:
Experience with
Git
or other version control systems.
Analytical Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Team Collaboration:
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
Familiarity with network simulators or emulators for WLAN testing.
Exposure to performance testing or network stress testing.
