Windows Systems Engineer (Active Directory Design & Architecture)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain

  Active Directory (AD) architecture

  including domains, forests, OU structure, and GPOs.
• Configure and manage

  Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)

  environments.
• Perform

  AD migrations, consolidations, and upgrades

  .
• Administer

  DNS, DHCP, FSMO roles, replication, and trust relationships

  .
• Ensure

  AD security hardening

  and compliance with organizational policies.
• Implement and support

  Azure AD integration, ADFS, and Single Sign-On (SSO)

  .
• Develop and maintain

  PowerShell scripts

  for automation of AD/Windows tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues related to

  authentication, replication, and user access

  .
• Manage

  disaster recovery planning

  and backup strategies for AD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field (or equivalent experience).

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience

  in

  Windows Server & AD environment

  .
• Strong understanding of

  identity management and AD design principles

  .
• Experience with

  enterprise-scale AD deployments

  preferred.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g.,

  MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104

  ) are a plus.
