Job Description

We're Hiring: Delphi Developer

Experience:
5+ Years in Delphi Windows Application Development
Location:
Offshore (Sompo IT Systems Development Unit)

Role Summary:

Develop, maintain, and enhance Delphi-based multi-tier desktop applications within a mature Agile SDLC environment. Work closely with business teams to deliver efficient and effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain & develop customized Delphi Windows applications.
Translate requirements from legacy Delphi apps for greenfield projects.
Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
Work with SQL Server databases (T-SQL, stored procedures).
Collaborate with QA & cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Create technical documentation (Confluence, JIRA, Visio, etc.).

Technical Skills:

Delphi 6+ (Object Oriented Pascal), Delphi package development.
SQL Server 2012+, T-SQL, RDBMS modeling.
SDLC (analysis ? design ? testing ? deployment ? support).
Object-Oriented design principles & patterns.
Source control / ALM software, versioning & release management.

General Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.
Work independently or collaboratively in a team-oriented setup.

Education:

Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
