Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement welding processes and procedures for various projects.
Conduct site visits to monitor welding operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues related to welding equipment maintenance, fabrication, and inspection.
Develop and maintain documentation of welding procedures, test reports, and certifications.
Provide training on welding techniques, safety protocols, and quality control measures to team members.
Analyzing engineering designs for welding requirements.
Overseeing a team of welders.
Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams.
Conducting failure analyses and cause analyses on welding issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

2-7 years of experience in Welding Engineering or a related field (PG Diploma preferred).
Strong knowledge of ASME codes, GTAW/SMAW/CO2/GAS/ARC/TIG/MIG/SAW welding techniques.
Proficiency in WPS development, testing & validation; familiarity with robotic welding systems an added advantage.
