Welder/Fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting Drawings:Reading and understanding blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to plan fabrication and welding procedures.
• Metal Preparation:Cutting, shaping, and preparing metal components using various tools and equipment, including saws, shears, and bending machines.
• Welding:Performing welding tasks using different techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick) to join metal pieces according to specifications.
• Fabrication:Assembling fabricated metal components into finished products or structures, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Quality Control:Inspecting welds and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance:Operating welding machines, hand tools, and other equipment safely and maintaining them in good working order.
• Safety Compliance:Following all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration:Working with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Material Handling:Lifting and moving metal materials and components, sometimes requiring physical exertion and the use of lifting equipment.
• Problem Solving:Troubleshooting issues that arise during fabrication and welding processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Welding Expertise: Proficiency in various welding techniques and procedures.
• Metal Fabrication Skills: Knowledge of metal cutting, shaping, and assembly techniques.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in welding and fabrication tasks.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Communication: Effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,171.75 - ₹18,000.00 per month
