Job Title: Shopify Developer Location: Chennai (In -office) Department: IT / Development Job Overview: The Indus Valley is looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for crafting seamless and high-performance e-commerce experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce websites with a focus on performance and reliability. Customize Shopify themes and implement front-end features aligned with brand guidelines and UI/UX designs. Manage and optimize Shopify CMS for smooth content management and operational efficiency. Convert design mockups (Figma/PSD) into responsive HTML/CSS templates. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel-perfect execution of design vision. Improve website speed, SEO, and performance across devices and browsers. Troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues and implement effective solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Product) to enhance site functionality and user experience. Keep up with the latest Shopify and e-commerce development trends, tools, and technologies. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
