Job Description: Web Developer (Java Enterprise)Position: Web Developer Domain: Java Enterprise Applications Work Area: School Website Development & Maintenance Employment Type: Full-Time Overview:We are looking for a skilled Java Enterprise Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain dynamic and user-friendly websites for educational institutions. The candidate should have strong expertise in Java-based web technologies, with the ability to create secure, scalable, and responsive school websites that align with academic requirements and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and update school websites using Java EE / Spring Boot technologies. Design user-friendly interfaces ensuring smooth navigation for students, parents, and staff. Integrate backend systems such as student portals, fee modules, attendance systems, and CMS tools. Ensure website security, data privacy, and compliance with education board guidelines (e.g., CBSE requirements). Work closely with school administration to gather requirements and implement new features. Optimize website performance, loading speed, and mobile responsiveness. Manage hosting, domain configuration, backup processes, and website uptime. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions. Maintain documentation for development, updates, and technical processes. Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong knowledge of Java, Java EE, Spring/Spring Boot, JSP/Servlets. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive design. Knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and server-side integration. Understanding of web security protocols, SSL, authentication, and role-based access. Familiarity with version control tools (Git). Ability to handle full-cycle development from planning to deployment. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred Skills (Optional):Experience with school/education-related systems or ERP portals. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.). UI/UX design skills. Personal Qualities:Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proactive, reliable, and keen to learn new technologies.
