About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Understand technical requirements, translate them into development tasks, and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Work across all phases of the development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Implement optimized, secure, and scalable code following best coding practices and MVC principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX, QA, and project management.
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system configurations.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Experience working with MVC-based frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, CakePHP, Yii, Symfony, Magento preferred).
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work with phpMyAdmin and database design concepts.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with jQuery UI and front-end integration.
• Exposure to CMS or e-commerce platforms (Magento preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
