Web Solutions Engineer II, Deals and Payments

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in full-stack development. Experience with front-end languages (e.g., JavaScript or TypeScript). Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL). Preferred qualifications: Experience using AI-powered development tools or incorporating pre-built ML models/APIs into projects. Experience in multiple programming languages including Python, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, etc. Experience working with systems for collaborative code reviews, version control, continuous integration and automated testing. Experience with financial system development. Experience with Protocol Buffers. Experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems and passion for Engineering. About the job As a Youtube's Web Solutions Engineer, you will innovate and develop software-based solutions for complex business problems.You will be working with automation, building scalable solutions, and developing software engineering standard procedures. Responsibilities Build, and deploy scalable software platforms for teams within YouTube. Ensure that all technical solutions are implemented in a way that enables scalability and accuracy. Collaborate with product leads and engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools. Implement features and fixes in new and existing systems based on technical designs in compiled or scripted languages. Analyze, review, and modify programs to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements as well as execute testing, debugging, maintenance or program updates.
