Web Developer

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into design assets like

  Figma

  (or similar tools).
• Build and maintain front ends that are performant, maintainable, and accessible.
• Collaborate on integration with data pipelines and back-end services.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and graphics best practices.
• Implement interactive, high-performance applications using

  WebGPU

  and/or

  WebGL2

  .
• Maintain websites to a high standard with high uptime.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Ability to work with domain experts and translate their needs to a good UX/UI in the form of design assets i.e.

  Figma (or similar) mockups

  that will be used to create production-ready code.
• Strong proficiency with

  WebGPU

  or

  WebGL2

  , including shader programming and GPU pipeline concepts.
• Proficiency in

  front-end development

  , including responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Strong testing discipline with deep experience in building out test suites, plus knowledge of

  continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)

  and front-end testing frameworks.
• Solid experience with

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  and modern frameworks (

  React, Tailwind

  etc.).

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with scientific visualization, data visualization, or interactive graphics applications.
• Experience integrating

  WASM

  or

  ONNX Runtime

  .
• Experience with 3D rendering pipelines, computational geometry, or image processing.
• Experience with

  Electron

  .
• Strong sense of design, aesthetics, and user experience.
